Does Ampersand Vintage Modern (&VM) have a "brick & mortar" store that I can visit? For now, &VM is strictly an online business. Our offices are located in Belmont, Massachusetts. We are always available through email, and you can call us at 617-230-5948.
How do I make a purchase? Anything in our current inventory is available for purchase directly through the &VM website. If you are interested in something you see on the site, and you live locally, curbside pick-up and delivery are available.
We accept all major credit cards through online ordering. In addition, cash and USPS money orders are accepted for local transactions.
What are your shipping rates? We ship via USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, and through Greyhound Package Express. Shipping charges are based on actual costs and vary according to the weight of the item purchased, the shipping carrier chosen, and destination address. You may contact us before you place an order if you would like to arrange a Greyhound shipment.

Why are your larger pieces local pick-up/delivery only? At &VM, we strive to provide our customers with the best possible prices. For larger pieces, both in size and weight, we feel that the shipping expense would far exceed any reasonable price we could offer. However, if you do not live locally, and there is something you cannot possibly live without, please contact us and we will provide a shipping and handling estimate.
Can I return something after I buy it? All sales are final, and we do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges. We take great care in describing each piece as accurately as possible, and we encourage you to contact us with specific questions or concerns before you make a purchase. I saw something in the Archives that I love; can you find another? Absolutely – we love requests! While some things are truly one of a kind, we do our best to re-stock popular items. Also, please let us know if there is something you are looking for, and we will look for you!
