Ampersand Vintage Modern (&VM) is a small retail business specializing in mid-century modern, industrial, and vintage home furnishings.

I, Clytie Sadler, am the sole proprietor of &VM. Hi, nice to meet you.

Established in 2011, our mission is to provide an eclectic array of high-quality and affordable furniture, small goods, and artwork that blends with the mid-century modern design aesthetic. Whenever possible, we strive to build our inventory from salvaged, local, and vintage products, in the hopes of maintaining a sustainable environment.

We are a team of numerous friends, family, and supporters who are behind-the-scenes serving as cheerleaders, coaches, helpers, and heavy-lifters. We also have talented individuals working in partnership with Ampersand as guest bloggers and pickers.

Going into this business was a natural and effortless decision. Our interest and passion in searching for vintage treasure is the driving force behind Ampersand. We all have a sharp sense of humor and share a similar aesthetic when it comes to decorating and design. When we visit each other’s homes, we were already playing the “what-could-I-steal-when-he/she-is-not-looking” game.

We really love what we do. We love vintage and mid-century modern furniture and wares. We love &VM. And we hope that you do too!
